My name is Erika Olivera and I am a Photographer residing in Lima, Peru. I lives in New York City where I have studied Commercial Photography at LaGuardia Community College located in Long Island City, Queens. I graduated in 2015 and was nominated by one of the professors to participate in the ePortfolio Student Scholar. It is a program dedicated to freshmen students in all different degrees that showcase their academic and professional presentation of themselves.

What does Photography mean to me? Photography is not just about clicking the shutter button, it is about documenting and creating history through images for the future generations to see. In my work, I carry this saying all the time because I love capturing the special moments and while editing, they become meaningful.
